My Story
From my very first day in the field, precision and problem-solving became the foundation of my career.
I still remember working alongside a meticulous foreman in the damp crawl space of a commercial building in Walker’s Point. That day, I was given a task that forced me to think differently: apply the mathematical constant 1.414 to determine the exact length of pipe required for a precise offset. I had to reach back to my high school geometry, rethink the problem, and measure with intention. I struggled. I made mistakes. But by the end of that job, something clicked.
That moment changed how I viewed the trade. It taught me that great plumbing isn’t just about strength or speed—it’s about accuracy, balance, and understanding the principles beneath the work. Mathematics wasn’t abstract anymore. It was practical. It was physical. And it mattered.
When I founded Axis Mechanical LLC, I built the company around that same mindset. The name Axis represents alignment and a fixed point—something stable you can build from. Even our phone number, 345-AXIS, is a quiet reference to the Pythagorean theorem, a reminder that precision starts with fundamentals.
